Hoài Phố Cảm Tác: Một Thực Nghiệm Di Sản

Hoài Phố Cảm Tác là chương trình lưu trú sáng tác do Annam Gallery phối hợp cùng Amira Resort Hội An thực hiện, một lời mời nghệ sĩ bước vào không gian sống của Hội An để ở lại, quan sát, và sáng tác từ chính nhịp điệu chậm rãi của phố cổ.

Dự án hân hạnh được đơn vị Amira Resort đồng hành hỗ trợ không gian lưu trú và mở xưởng sáng tác, tạo điều kiện để nghệ sĩ sống và sáng tác liền mạch trong một bối cảnh giàu chất liệu: kiến trúc bản địa, mỹ cảm dân gian, sinh hoạt đời thường cùng bề dày văn hóa vốn mang nhiều trầm tích của phố cổ Hội An.

Trong một tuần lưu trú, nghệ sĩ được khuyến khích đi chậm, tiếp cận không gian bằng trải nghiệm cá nhân, và từ đó diễn giải lại những gì được gọi là “di sản” bằng ngôn ngữ đương đại của riêng mình. Chương trình khuyến khích thực nghiệm: mở rộng cách nhìn, thử nghiệm chất liệu, và mở rộng đối thoại giữa quá khứ – hiện tại, giữa di sản và tính tiếp nối trong tương lai.

Tham gia chương trình là các nghệ sĩ với thực hành khác nhau, cùng gặp nhau ở chiều sâu cảm xúc.

Lâm Gia Huấn làm việc với lụa một cách chậm rãi, nơi cảnh quan, ký ức và văn hóa vùng miền được chưng cất thành lớp sâu tĩnh lặng. Cũng từ lụa, Một Quả Tắc mở ra một không gian cảm xúc nội tâm, để những rung động cá nhân hòa lẫn với bầu không khí hoài niệm đặc trưng của phố cổ. Trong khi đó, Phan Anh Thư tiếp cận Hội An qua màu nước, tập trung vào hình ảnh con người và khai tác những kết nối mong manh trong đời sống thường nhật. Còn Thủy Tiên, với sơn dầu, phát triển những lớp hình ảnh giàu trực quan, phản ánh trải nghiệm cá nhân khi đặt mình trong mạch chảy không ngừng của không gian di sản.

Các tác phẩm sau kỳ lưu trú sẽ được trưng bày tại Annam Gallery và Amira Resort, như một sự tiếp nối tự nhiên của quá trình trải nghiệm. Mỗi tác phẩm là một phiên bản cảm tác, góp thêm một cách nhìn vào dòng chảy di sản đang tiếp tục sống và đổi thay.

Faifo Impressions: An Experimental Heritage Practice

“Faifo Impressions: An Experimental Heritage Practice” is an artist residency program jointly organized by Annam Gallery and Amira Resort Hoi An. It serves as an invitation for artists to step into the lived environment of Hoi An – to stay, observe, and create directly from the slow, deliberate rhythm of the ancient town.

The project is proudly supported by Amira Resort, which provides accommodation and workshop spaces. This arrangement allows the participating artists to live and create seamlessly within a context rich in material: indigenous architecture, folk aesthetics, daily life activities, and the deep cultural sedimentation inherent to Hoi An’s old quarter.

During the one-week residency, artists are encouraged to slow down, approach the space through personal experience, and from that depth, reinterpret what is called “heritage” through their own contemporary language. The program champions experimentation: broadening perspectives, testing new materials, and expanding the dialogue between the past and the present, between heritage and its future continuity.

The program features artists with diverse practices, united by the profound emotional depth of their work.

Lam Gia Huan works slowly with silk, where landscapes, memories, and regional culture are distilled into silent, deep layers. Also utilizing silk, Mot Qua Tac opens up an inner emotional space, allowing individual vibrations to blend with the characteristic nostalgic atmosphere of the old town. Meanwhile, Phan Anh Thu approaches Hoi An through watercolor, focusing on human figures and exploring the fragile connections in daily life. Thuy Tien, working with oil paint, develops intuitive, layered imagery that reflects her personal experience of placing herself within the ceaseless flow of the heritage space.

The resulting works created during the residency will be exhibited at both Annam Gallery and Amira Resort, serving as a natural continuation of the experiential process. Each piece is an inspired version, contributing a unique perspective to the living, ever-changing current of heritage.
