Với tư cách là đơn vị Art Handling, TRE100 vinh dự khi được tiếp tục đồng hành cùng UOB trong mùa thứ 3 của cuộc thi Painting of the Year — một trong những sân chơi nghệ thuật uy tín hàng đầu khu vực, nhằm khuyến khích, tôn vinh và lan tỏa thực hành nghệ thuật.

Từ mùa thứ 2 đến nay, với vai trò đơn vị Art Handling, TRE100 đảm nhận toàn bộ quy trình vận chuyển, xử lý kỹ thuật, lắp đặt và trưng bày các tác phẩm trong không gian triển lãm và lễ trao giải. Chúng tôi tiếp cận từng tác phẩm như một thực thể mang tính thẩm mỹ, tư tưởng và cấu trúc riêng biệt — đòi hỏi sự am hiểu kỹ thuật, sự chính xác trong thao tác và sự tinh tế trong sắp đặt để đảm bảo tác phẩm được trình hiện trong trạng thái hoàn hảo nhất.

Việc được UOB tin tưởng đồng hành qua hai mùa liên tiếp không chỉ là niềm vinh dự, mà còn là một phần trong hành trình phát triển của TRE100 với tư cách đội ngũ chuyên trách về art logistics & handling. UOB Painting of the Year 2025 – a journey celebrating Vietnamese art and honoring exceptional artistic talent – has come to a close after an emotional and meaningful third year.

The highest title, UOB Painting of the Year 2025 (Vietnam), was awarded to artist Cao Văn Thục for his work “Temporary Bond.” Created with lacquer and acid–etching techniques on aluminum alloy, the piece reflects the 30-year-old artist’s deep empathy for the working class. Through contemporary material and technique, the artwork portrays displaced lives in the pursuit of livelihood, human solidarity, and the rapid urbanization in major cities.

The 2025 Most Promising Artist of the Year (Vietnam) title was presented to artist Nguyễn Ngọc Thuần for his debut piece “Self-portrait, 2025 (life has taken root in me in the shadow of a tree).” Executed in acrylic on canvas, the work draws inspiration from an X-ray image of his chest and the ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) that has been inside his body for a decade. The device becomes a symbolic “mother tree” rooted within him, raising questions about human identity and definitions of being in an era where medical technology continues to extend life.
