Tại khu bảo tồn biển và rừng quốc gia Côn Đảo, Six Senses Côn Đảo, khu nghỉ dưỡng sinh thái hàng đầu thế giới, là nơi hiếm hoi tại Việt Nam không chỉ gìn giữ vẻ đẹp hoang sơ của thiên nhiên, mà còn cam kết theo đuổi một lối sống bền vững, trong không gian rộng lớn của rừng, của biển, của đại dương bao la, SỰ SỐNG sẽ đưa bạn chạm đến những tầng sâu lắng nhất của cảm xúc.
Triển lãm “Khởi Thuỷ” được chọn làm điểm khởi đầu cho SỰ SỐNG 2025, giám tuyển bởi Ace Le, CEO – Tổng Biên tập Art Republik Việt Nam và đội ngũ Lân Tinh. Mạch ý tưởng triển lãm với những tác phẩm mỹ thuật Đông Dương là một phần nối dài của “KHỞI”, trong đó, nước là điểm khởi đầu của vạn vật, bắt đầu bằng một tác phẩm bình minh và kết thúc bằng một phong cảnh hoàng hôn.
Louis-Jules Dumoulin (1860–1924) với tác phẩm “Vịnh Hạ Long (Baie d’Along)”, sáng tác khoảng 1888–1889; Nam Sơn (1890–1973), “Cò trắng và cá vàng (Grues et poissons rouges)”, sáng tác năm 1927; Đỗ Đức Thuận (1898–1970), “Thuyền trên bến sông Hồng (Port sur le fleuve Rouge)”, sáng tác năm 1931; Mai Trung Thứ (1906–1980), “Đồng tiền vàng (La sapèque d’or)”, sáng tác năm 1946; Vua Hàm Nghi (1871–1944), “Cây bên hồ Léman (Berge arborée – Lac Léman)”, sáng tác năm 1920.

In this vast, soulful landscape of forests, seas, and open ocean, LIFE invites you on a journey into the deepest layers of feeling and connection.
The exhibition “Aquagenesis” was chosen as the prologue of LIFE 2025, curated by Ace Le, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Art Republik Vietnam, alongside the visionary team at Lan Tinh. Rooted in the spirit of “Beginning”, the exhibition traces a narrative through the masterpieces of Indochine fine arts—where water, the elemental source of all life, becomes the metaphorical thread. It begins with a painting of dawn, and concludes with a sunset landscape—a visual arc of genesis and reflection.
Featured works include: “Baie d’Along” by Louis-Jules Dumoulin (1888–1889), “Grues et poissons rouges” by Nam Sơn (1927), “Port sur le fleuve Rouge” by Đỗ Đức Thuận (1931), “La sapèque d’or” by Mai Trung Thứ (1946), “Berge arborée – Lac Léman” by Emperor Hàm Nghi (1920).
Each painting, a milestone. Each brushstroke, a memory of the East in dialogue with the West. And each artist, a pioneer who dared to bridge traditions, to step beyond the known.
