Sau nhiều năm miệt mài với chất liệu, màu sơn, hình khối và câu chuyện bé nhỏ phía sau mỗi nhân vật, Oleander Workshop xin được giới thiệu đến mọi người triển lãm cá nhân đầu tiên “Toy Village – Làng Toys”, một không gian nơi thế giới mô hình được tái hiện theo cách thật gần gũi.

“Làng Toys” không phải một triển lãm lớn lao, mà chỉ là lời chào nhẹ nhàng từ một xưởng nhỏ luôn yêu chất liệu, yêu mô hình, yêu màu sắc và mong muốn mang đến những khoảnh khắc dễ chịu cho những ai dành sự quan tâm cho art toy Việt Nam. Chúng mình rất mong được đón bạn ghé thăm, dạo bước qua những mái nhà sáng đèn, những góc phố lấp lánh trong key visual và gặp gỡ những nhân vật đã theo Oleander Workshop suốt hành trình 10 năm vừa qua.

Hẹn bạn tại “Toy Village – Làng Toys”. Một ngôi làng nhỏ – nhưng đủ để kể rất nhiều câu chuyện.

Về Oleander Workshop: Với quá trình học tập và làm việc liên tục gần 20 năm trong mảng ngành mỹ thuật công nghiệp, Oleander Workshop là một đơn vị thi công, gia công và sản xuất mô hình tại Việt Nam.

Về tác phẩm trưng bày: các sản phẩm thuộc Bộ Sưu Tập Làng Toys thuộc sở hữu của Oleander Workshop với nội dung chính:

• Nêu lên được giá trị hình ảnh và tinh thần Việt Nam. Phù hợp với cuộc sống hiện đại, xu hướng nghề mới, tư duy thẩm mỹ mới đang phát triển rất nhanh chóng trong giới trẻ Việt Nam và thế giới.
• Nói lên được văn hóa truyền thống không phải là những gì xa lạ, cổ và cũ kĩ.

Mỗi tác phẩm ra đời, là sự kết hợp của nhiều ngành nghề liên quan đến nghệ thuật và kĩ thuật hiện đại. (concept  2d, concept  màu, concept  3d, dựng và tạo hình 3d, công nghệ in mẫu 3d, làm khuôn, đúc số lượng, sơn màu, đóng gói,…).

After years of working quietly with materials, paint, forms, and the little stories behind each character, Oleander Workshop is delighted to introduce our very first solo exhibition, “Toy Village – Làng Toys” a space where our miniature world is brought to life in the most familiar and heartfelt way. This exhibition is made possible through the support of Annam Gallery – our venue partner and a dear friend who has opened their doors to help the works meet the public in the most thoughtful setting.

“Làng Toys” is not a grand exhibition, but rather a gentle greeting from a small workshop that has always loved materials, models, colors, and hopes to bring a sense of ease to those who care about Vietnamese art toys. We warmly invite you to visit, wander through the lit-up rooftops, stroll across the shimmering alleys from the key visual and meet the characters who have accompanied Oleander Workshop throughout the past 10 years.

See you at “Toy Village – Làng Toys”. A small village — yet full of stories waiting to be told.

About Oleander Workshop: With a continuous learning and working process spanning nearly 20 years in the field of industrial fine arts, Oleander Workshop is a unit in Vietnam specializing in the construction, processing, and production of models.

About the Displayed Works: The products belong to the ‘Làng Toys’ (Village Toys) Collection, owned by Oleander Workshop, with the main objectives:

• To highlight Vietnamese visual and spiritual values. The works are suitable for modern life and align with the rapidly developing new aesthetic concepts and new professional trends among Vietnamese youth and globally.

• To state that traditional culture is not something strange, ancient, or outdated.

• Each piece is created through the combination of various professions related to modern art and technology (2D concept, color concept, 3D concept, 3D modeling and shaping, 3D printing technology, mold making, mass casting, color painting, packaging, etc.).
